The Challenge

Bain manages surveys for their clients and provides reports that compare the results to a series of benchmarks. These reports are custom in nature but were taking the Bain team three more days to assemble after the survey’s completion, which was too slow for most clients. The challenge was to assemble an end-to-end system that would allow Bain to import survey data collected in Qualtrics, to quickly and easily apply it to report templates which would make the necessary benchmark comparisons and allow the team to add custom elements that could be shared via PowerPoint or as an interactive report. This all had to occur within minutes rather than days.

The Solution

Bain needed a solution that would quickly deliver client survey results against the benchmark reports. They turned to mTab to design and deliver a solution that integrated mTab’s Automated Conversion Tool with the Qualtrics API, allowing users to efficiently select a study to import into the mTab platform from their Qualtrics account, providing rapid, simple analysis.

The mTab team assembled the required templates to provide reports in both PowerPoint and interactive reports. These templates delivered enhanced automation and flexible customization.

This project was global in nature with Bain and mTab teams across India, the United Kingdom, South Korea, mainland Europe and the United States.

The Result

mTab delivered Bain a powerful solution that was customizable to differing client needs and quickly provided benchmark comparisons to incoming survey initiatives. Connecting mTab’s platform to Qualtrics allowed for the Bain team to assemble results quickly and efficiently on a global basis. This allows for faster decisions and enhanced performance by both Bain and its clients.
